Drenched in creepy creaking moorings
I become fear as I watch myself drowning.
Bobbing for the first time choking,
Bobbing up and down again and again in my head laughing.
Listening to the patter of tiny feet above my head,
The dream ends and I cradle my head in the corner of my room
Peeping out from behind my headboard,
They run along the beams and crawl down the walls
They say it is all in my head, above my head.
Cradled up into a shaking ball while they run across the walls,
Running in my bed running in my head running in circles around me,
Running fingers through my hair
Their pointed glares surround me.
